Exciting mail today! A chook/chuck of my very own, along with some yummy wool, flew in from Ireland! OMgosh, Rita! The art work is incredible and the quilting is amazing! I THANK YOU so much!! Probably should ask Wendy if "chook" only refers to a hen because I may have used the wrong term. Regardless, I love my Irish chook!!

Where do you find those lovely designs, Rita ??

I am so glad you like it Charae. However, it is not an original piece of artwork from me. I got it from Mary Corbet's needlenthread.com. It was a free pattern 'Mary Corbet's Crewel Rooster'. I just traced, coloured and stitched it. (I guess that answers your question Marilyn - I keep trawling the internet for interesting images that might look good on a mug rug - or that I find interesting. Thanks for all the nice comments.

Great mug rugs everyone. I am looking forward to getting back in business the latter half of August. I am way, way behind in posting photos of ones I've recieved. I'll get to it!

Thank you SO MUCH Rita - I love it

I love the design, and the quilting on it is amazing. I was reading how you do it in an earlier post and thinking I must give it a try.
I will pass Toni's mug rug on to her and let her post a picture of it - it's SOOO cute!
It's a very grey and dreary day here today ...just right for going out to the sewing room and whipping up a batch of mug rugs - YAY

I love Mary Corbet's blogs and it is all Lynn's fault. She is always getting me distracted with other sites.
