Goood morning, Norma! Your Flying Carpet should by now be somewhere over the North Sea. I hope the little lad flies nice and high and doesn't get his fringe wet.

I think we should just post the one that we get, so that the surprise element continues. And we also should keep posting here. Those beautiful little pieces need as wide an audience as possible.

And now I better get going. It's mainly Y10 for me today, Maths, ICT, and German, with some exam scribing thrown in. All that should keep me busy.

Yay a show & tell to see the whole carpet of mug rugs at once

I suggest that we carry on as we have been doing when we post them there as well as here, by labeling them with the recipient & the maker. This does mean that we will probably pick up some more mug-ruggers, but would they also be lounge lizards? I mean they didn't find us without a big heads up on the front page....

Delighted with the idea of a show and tell. Maybe it will encourage some of the silent majority to participate too.

No notification for two days of new entries so had missed 6 pages of mug rug goodies .

Lorchen congratulation to Emma, what a beautiful name for the baby, I never heard of Ayaan before.

All the mug rugs posted from BJ, Lottie, Rita, Ritzy and Wendy are beautiful so lovely to see everyone’s creation. I love them all. Ritzy’s so colourful, and why didn’t I have my name down for one??? I love the one of Tricky Rims from BJ to Rita, made me have a really good laugh.

I am actually going to start making mine this week. I have a few ideas and hopefully after sampling them I will be able to get on a roll and finish them as I am feeling embarrassed not getting them done and sent out ops: ops: ops:

Norma, thank you SO MUCH for the head start on the Show & Tell link! I have forwarded it on to Mary Kay, but know that she is going to be on vacation for a while, so it may not happen right away. It was fun to scroll thorough all the photos you assembled!!
            Hugs....

I agree! It seems a shame not to share the fun with a wider audience. I've got a bunch of ideas for new ones.

Step-mama passed away peacefully this morning a 6:00 a.m. Thanks for all the prayers and comments from my Lounge Lizards. I have to go back to Onancock, VA, but this time I'm packing a sewing machine and at least 5 projects

Peace for all your family at this time. (Sounds as if you have your own piece)

I'm really sorry for your loss, Susan! The good news is that her suffering is over. I hope you can take some small comfort in that. You are in all of our thoughts!
