A green lad, hmmm, don't know how I'll handle that, but I have a great idea for you, so I'll take the greenie!

He is all yours, Susan! Just email me your address. This one is a little frisky and wants to spread his wings, but he is well trained and speaks German and English. He also told me that if you run out of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, he'll gladly sit under a large Bourbon.

Hey Lorchen, could I be the one for your last flying carpet?
I'm kind of going back to normal life now so I think I can get some mug rugs done in near future

          Hi Lorchen,

I would love the purple one since my favorite color is purple.

Lorchen, I love green. I want to exchange. I need to get back to my sewing room big time and do a few small things before my stint with the Chinese Whisper Challenge.

Norma, the purple flying carpet will head East from here to the land of fairy tales. Just email me your address.

Vicki, sorry, but Norma was quicker than you. If you can be a little patient I'll make you a purple 'wee rug' before mid-August. If that's ok, then just email me your address.

Lois, you are a little too late. The green 'thingy' is gone, but if you don't mind waiting for a few weeks, I'll make you a rug as green as Sherwood Forest. Just send me an email with your address.

Isn't this just the perfect use for a Canadian/Swiss mug rug?! Lotti, I can't make up my mind which is the front and which the back. I rather like the idea of you smiling at me whilst I enjoy a 'wee dram'.

Thank you so much for finding the time when you are so busy right now!

I have the same problem as you over deciding which should be the front & which should be the back of Lotti's mug rug.

Whilst at pack holiday this weekend I was working on one of my mug rugs & showed the other leaders the ones I had been sent. They all declared that they were all far too good to even possibly consider using them  - but if we don't we won't have any excuse to make some more in a few years time...

By the way Izzy saw the design for the Cerne Abbas Giant and insists that it needs a button or two added to it before it is sent out

Rosemary, if you want to do anything funky with your Cerne Abbas Giant, why don't you dress him in a kilt..... :P

I intend to put my mug rugs in the cupboard next to the whisky tumbles, so they will get used. 8)

It is not me that is bothered - but to an 11 yr old it is scandalous

I like the idea of a kilt for the giant - you could velcro it in place!
