I beg to differ. There is nothing boring about those lively quilts you make. That has to come from somewhere in you.

Ritzy, considering your quilts & shoes your definitely not boring.

Party food - since it is a birthday party I will have to bring a rabbit jelly with fizzy green jelly grass (I might even add a little something to the rabbit jelly to make it a bit more grown-up too  )

I usually use blackcurrent jelly. Oh! and little sugar flowers scattered over the grass.

Is Jelly the same as Jell-o? Like the jellies on Doc Martin that the crazy gossipy person spread all over town?

Marilyn--I have been following this thread and think I have enough courage to join in now. If you still have room for someone else in your next round, I would love to exchange with you.

Charae, I have recently finished all that I have promise with the exception of one so I am ready for another go round before I am due for my stint with the Chinese Whisper challenge. I may be a little while but if you send me your address I put you on a list.

I got the jelly part but I am still in the dark with the fizzy green jelly grass.

Here you are - one blackcurrent rabbit jelly with green (lime) grass. In UK we can buy blocks of concentrate jelly cubes which you split up & put in a jug and then pour on 1/2 pint of boiling water, stir & wait until the cubes are dissolved and then top up to 1 pint with cold water, pour into a mould, then put in the fridge until set. For the green one I add the boiling water and leave until cool, at this point I top up with fizzy lemonade instead of water and put it in the fridge to set. When you eat it it still has the fizzyness in it The rabbit mould is inherited from my mother and we always had a rabbit jelly & icecream at birthdays when I was a child, my sister did it for her two & now I do the same for Izzy.

I am loving jelly rabbits and fizzy grass. Thanks for sharing that wonderful tradition. Looking forward to tasting it at Limbania's.

This is off topic, but it wouldn't be the first time. It's Tuesday, right? I have not gotten my TQS Newletter today! Looked in my trash to see if I inadvertantly tossed it. Not there!
