Lois! Was Limbania's mug rug suppose to be the "butt ugly" one? It is wonderful! Obviously, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Keep your eyes closed and your work will be as beautiful to you as it is to us.

I'm so excited! Look what came in the mail yesterday (did not get a chance to photograph it then): it's a Rita bird! It is so lovely, and unlike me, Rita knows how to colour between the lines! Beautiful colors, reminiscent of James Whistler's famous Peacock Room (my photo does not do it justice) and with signature Rita shamrocks, which I adore! Thank you, Rita!!! I will very much enjoy this mug rug!

I have just returned from visiting friends today (beautiful warm sunny day) and brought in the post and was really excited and very happy to have received my very first mug rug and it is from Rita. Thank you so much Rita, it is beautiful and there is no way I would put anything on it to mark it. I am so pleased that you have a shamrock on it (although if I think about it you put a shamrock on everyone's - duh)  as although I have lived in Scotland a long time I still think of myself as Irish. 8) 8) I love the flowers and the quilting – I love everything about it (sorry to be so gushing but I am so thrilled to receive it).

            Rita,
You have an amazing gift of artistry. The mug rugs you've sent and which we've seen here are just wonderful and a joy to see. Lucky members!!! Wish I'd gotten in the exchange at the start.

Your mug rug from Rita is so pretty too! Aren't we lucky? I've been grinning ear-to-ear since last night and I can imagine you doing so as well now, Maureen! It was my first mug rug as well!

Renata and Maureen, aren't you thrilled to be owners of "Rita Originals"?!

Rita, your artistry continues to amaze me! You are truly the master of the Pitt pens!

When I finally get an opportunity to start my rugs, I know of several that I want to try, but none are as original as Rita's. Gurrlll, you've got a clever mind! Thanks to all for sharing.

And, you have me drooling over Pitt pens.

I even ordered some Pitt pens after Rita's previous mug rugs. These new ones are spectacular! And I can't wait to try my pens....

                            Rita,
Do you use the Pitt pens with the small tip or the brush tip. I'd like to try them and looked them up on the website, but didn't know which ones to order.

Jane the pens I use are Pitt Artist Brush Pens. (Not the thicker ones.) Good luck.

there's also a parcel with some paints and things at the office waiting for me to unpack and try out.
