Susan--RPIA? Yes, two days of no contact with my girls is very stressful!

Susan, I agree with you. I love to use Mug Rugs to try new types of binding. That being said they also provide lot's of opportunity for practicing traditional bindings. Practicing enough to get it right is like you say a RPIA.   We quilters are sure gluttons for punishment.

I totally agree, Susan, but I had a fabric I really wanted to incorporate and that was the only way. It did give me good practice, like Lois said, and I am happy to report they are all done now and will go in tomorrow's mail!

Marilyn--your wool pieces is wonderful, of course the other is good too but you know me, I like the black with the bright colors.

Thanks, Wendy and Ritzy. Pastel isn't exactly me either...but just right for Easter. The wool was all hand dyed
and vibrant and the blacks are all different...some over-dyed ,some not.

Both your pieces are very beautiful and very different--I agree with you, Marilyn, on pastel for Easter. Perhaps I should challenge myself to play more with pastels... Happy Easter and thanks for the photos, totally enjoyed seeing your work!

                              Marilyn,
Both your projects are wonderful. I've wanted to do a wool project but LQS's near me don't seem interested. And, I love Crabapple Hill projects. It's the embroidery that I really like...thanks for sharing.

                              Happy Easter to all.
