WOW! All those amazing gorgeous gems!

But tonight I can join in. Thanks to Marilyn my single malt is now protected by a well-trained feline! It was waiting for me when I got back from more "Oma Duties".

Marilyn, I love, love, love it!

I really like this one, I wonder if I can try to make something like it for Kathy.

Oh, Marilyn, that is a precious mug rug. . . I love kitties (as Bubba can attest) and Lorchen--your new picture with the baby is even more precious. Beautiful all!!!

Thanks for explaining, Geneva. It was those golden sparks that drew my attention. You should not be embarrassed but proud instead that you remembered the fabric .

Again, you sleep one night and wake up to more artistic muggies. I have the impression that what Geneva said about trusting in own abilities and willingness to try new things have been the case for all who is participating here. That's a gift we have given ourselves.
Thanks to Rosemary who planted this seed :P

I agree with you Norma. These little mug rugs really help build confidence and they are such sweet treasures too!

Marilyn, I love that mug rug.

I am sure that others were in on having the germ of the idea, I just worked out how we could do it without overloading any one person with the co-ordination. And the beauty of it is that anyone can join in at any time, for as long as they want....

Which reminds me I still have a few white horses as yet unmade, plus another order for a Cerne Abbas Giant, although I haven't decided whether to give him a kilt or boxer's or whatever. But I might be able to squeeze some stitching in as leaders & enders with my CW quilt over the next month - if I get organised

Should you ever have one of those giants left over (with or without boxers), I'd love to exchange mug rugs with you, Rosemary! So much more interesting than crop circles. Just one gripe: Why is there no female version anywhere??
