Now, look what was in my mailbox today !! Nessy's friend came to stay !! Floating in an indigo lake !
Maureen's dye work is just beautiful !! This water dragon is no monster, what with hand
drawn scales and long, long eyelashes !! She's gliding under a silvery blue moon. Funny
thing...we've just had a real one !! I love it ! Thank you so much Maureen !!

I love Maureen's indigo lake and the green and red of "Nessy's friend" fit in so perfectly. Enjoy this beautiful mug rug, Marilyn!

Glad you like it Marilyn as it was an experiment on what I could do with pieces left over from my Indigo pieces. With you being in amongst the fires, smoke and heat I thought a calming Nessie floating over to see you would keep you cool

Beautiful mug rug Maureen - how clever, and such a pretty Nessy!

I received a beautiful mug rug from Maureen yesterday. It is so beautiful. I assume all the fabrics are hand-dyes Maureen? They are really beautiful and vibrant. The design is so appealing, the stitching is perfect with the design and the binding is 'class' as the kids would say here! I truly love it and thank you very much.

Here' a photo of the back - also beautiful:

And the card that came with it is a photo of a section of Phillipa Naylor's 'Daisy Quilt' - such a fantastic photo and quilt.

Sorry my camera made it a little darker than it should be, but you get the idea.
                              Many thanks Maureen.
