you might want to pitch a tent jane, snail mail could take a litte while to swim all the way from australia....

i'm also very much looking forward for my two australian treasures - yeahhhhhh - will keep myself busy with work, quilts (the two for the Lac Megantic Railway Accident in Canada are ready for shipment - yeah - now all i'm waiting for is the address), and a concert or two - we have the BlueBalls festival (jazz-blues-soul and a bit of this and that as well) in Luzern this week - and i got tickets for the concert hall tomorrow night - yeahhhhhhh

I will work on another mug rug while I try to patiently wait...tapping foot, sighing, tapping foot, pacing. Oh, wait! I said "patiently".

Marilyn. Thank you for your email. I'm so happy that you like it. This was an exercise for me using my Bernina V6 software. I decided to decorate the background around the rose shape and applique the rose in the hoop. I was rather happy with the result.

Now I must dye some more fabric. I used the last piece of the yellow for the back on yours. Late next week I hope to get to it.

Back from golf, and oh yes, the mailbox as it began a real down pour that included hail--the tent didn't even keep it out. So, guess I'll have to join Ritzy and practice patience while sighing, tapping feet, more sighing, more tapping--yikes--p a t i e n c e .

I agree with Ritzy--no sitting on the sidelines--come on, Pam, it's great fun and not work at all.

                            Norma,
You're so creative and inventive...mug rugs are such a wonderful way to experiment on a small scale. Marilyn is so lucky to have the roses captured for year-round pleasure. When winter comes and the tea is hot and a fresh baked cookie/pie/cobbler is sitting on that muggy, she'll know spring is right around the corner.

   roses are wonderful. I have them on my table through all the summer enjoying the fragrance they send out in the room. Maybe I should have scented it? - or not!
