I don't know if all you fellow CW'ers saw this post from Pam Day but thought I would put it here anyway.

Recently posted on Facebook by Limbania.

'Saw the surgeon Yesterday. Finally got results from the biopsy, after tissue and lymph nodes got sent to Harvard medical school/Massachusetts general hospital for a second opinion.
The margins are barely clear, 0.1 cm in the inferior border where they found pre-cancerous cells with high risk of becoming cancerous. I'm having surgery again next Monday, July 29 at 8:45 am.
Dang it! The fun just never ends
Prayers, healing thoughts, good vibe, etc. are highly appreciated. Have an awesome weekend!!!'

Limbania, I am sending all the healing thoughts, good vibes and positive energy I can across the ocean to you. All the best for Monday I will be thinking of you and sending you love and good wishes, Hugs, Rita.

Lots of positive energy coming to you from here as well Limbania. Lots of healing thoughts to get rid of the final traces. Impressed your medics are so thorough and thank goodness they are xx

Limbania, loads of positive thoughts coming your way from me too and even though another surgery is always tough, I am glad the second opinion resulted in catching the pre-cancerous cells now. My warmest wishes to you for a speedy recovery and that this will lead to a full recovery.

Hey Lois are you ok? How's it going, are you missing out on summer?

I have been wondering how it's going too Lois?

Thought I was on the fast track to finish in order to make a trip West. Now the trip has been postponed (not because of CWQ) until Fall and it"s a good thing. I am coming along with the project. Biggest problem has been bouts of procrastination all along the way because I am afraid I will mess something up big time.   I don't imagine any of the rest of you are ever guilty of such a thing.   I am not putting in 8 hour days like Renata reported but I am plugging away. Hoping today is very productive. Thanks for asking. Wendy, I spent last weekend at the beach in New Jersey with my son's family. So, yes, I am experiencing summer. The garden continues to grow. I do a bit of tending to it and then there is dealing with all it produces. But today I need to sew and keep the "Quilter's Boogie Man" away. Wish me luck!

That definitely happened to me too--in part out of fear of messing up irreparably, but for me it was also not having a clue what I was doing, very little previous experience to back me up!

Glad you're coming along the CW quilt and that you are also able to enjoy this summer, Lois! Good to hear from you too!

Lois, when it's my turn I will just quote you here because I know that is exactly how I will be feeling too. I am sure you will do a beautiful job and good luck with it.

It's been so bad, that I borrowed a book recently - The Procrastinators Handbook by Rita Emmett. - The fellow I borrowed it from had a bookmark in straight after chapter one!

I finished it last night !!! I already see an improvement!

A few points from the book: make lists and reward yourself for things you tick off. That's just a wee bit.

                      Good luck Lois!

Lois, I think we all are guilty of procrastination, at least I am. Instead of just getting the design and doing it I hum and haa about it and over think everything then when it is done I think oh, I should have done this or that instead.  That is why it takes me a lot longer to do anything for someone else. ops: ops: I am glad you are coming on with it and not rushing.

To all CW’s, I have just received Limbania’s quilt back from Nancy. Don’t worry if you think I have had a look, I haven’t. My daughter is unpacking them and storing them flat until they are ready to be hung. Nancy couldn’t get hold of Lorna so just posted to me herself in a large padded envelope. She used First Cass International post and it cost her $16.75, she posted it on 24th July and it arrived yesterday 2nd August. I went back to check on how much it cost Marilyn to send my quilt back to me. Marilyn paid $10.75 + $0.75 tracking to Lorna then a few $$ for Lorna to send to me, maybe $5 (I don’t know how much Marilyn enclosed for that). I think it was in a Priority Envelope but Marilyn will correct me if I am wrong. So, in fact there is not much difference in prices but I think sending to Lorna USA Forces post would be more secure.

I have had my quilt back from Marilyn and now Limbania’s from Nancy so remember to send the inspiration quilt back to me. In fact, when it is your turn it helps to read the rules again on page one on the forum as over time you could have forgotten things, I know I would

Thanks, Maureen. I still have Nancy's quilt. Haven't had a chance to make the label for mine which I was going to send together with Nancy's quilt. It's on my to do list.
