Limbania this is good news. The doctors are usually right. The diagnostic is a good idea for safety and I am glad that it is all happening quickly for you. As for the ever shrinking image....it's a lovely photo but a little hard to see even with my bionic eyes. Could you crop it to make it a little bigger... or have you become very shy all of a sudden?

Lois, here is my Rubies are Forever quilt so you don't have to go searching:

Rita, Yes, I finally found your quilt and I think it will do alot to bring warmth, cheer and sunshine to a cold damp Irish day. It is alive with light and color. The quilting is stunning. I am loving the keep simple quilting designs the MQG movement is bringing to our craft. Limbina, Good to hear the reassuring report from your doctor. We'll continue to send prayers. I am liking that the creative juices seemed to come with the arrival of Marilyn's quilt. Have a wonderful time with the work you will put into it. I agree with Rosemary, you seem to be fading away. We need a better view of that picture.

I think Limbania is trying to hide away while she works on the 'whispers quilt', I can hardly see her!

Hummmm? Should we start a thread about our "old friends"
and "new to us " sewing machines? I read several comments about them here and there....
I think this is a great idea

Looking forward to see some photos of your treadle machine

Glad to hear from you Loise! Hope you get caught up soon so you can get back to stitch.

Rita, do you want to get me in trouble? :? I'd love to share "The Quilt" and even more, my ideas for "The Other Quilt" but my lips and my computer/iPad are sealed, at least until 2014.

Just a quick update, I saw my doctor this past Monday and she said that it feels like a small cyst and that most of the times they're benign. It can also be a swollen limph nod. She ordered a diagnostic mammogram (which is more specific than the exploratory kind) to get more information. I have it scheduled for Wednesday of next week (Jan/30). That was the sooner they could do it.

Just to tease a little bit...  Got the design pretty much figured out. Right now I'm waiting for some fabrics to show up while testing a couple of ideas. I'll keep you posted   Hope I don't get in trouble with Mami Maureen. Well I didn't give you even a clue, did I?
Limbania, I am sure you know that all our thoughts and prayers are with you

Your last paragraph -

Thanks Connie, I surprised myself as well. But I watched a video first and although the commentary was in German somehow it linked with my brain and I was able to follow it.
