    Wow! I had never heard of a beach hut before! It looks like they started out to be "changing" rooms, and then just grew from there. What a wonderful idea, to have everything you need for a day at the beach, already right there at the beach waiting for you! I think I would have pushed the envelope too, and painted bright circles on mine. Just think what a quilter could come up with for a paint job! Yeah, I know, the "council" would be after us, too! But, it would be fun while it lasted.

    Rosanne, the little spool pin cushion is quite clever!

      I have always loved the look of the English seaside changing huts. I think it would make a great quilt idea. I might make one of the extra spools into a hut or AAQI. Thanks for the idea Lotti.

          I've literally just found this blog and it has some wonderful pieces to look at, also I think that she must be somewhere near(ish) Lorna's current neck of the woods. http://potterjotter.blogspot.co.uk/ - reading back a page is also worthwhile, in my opinion, just for the pictures.
