I would like to participate and plan on sewing 5 HST papers.
I had fun doing this in Edyta's workshop that I attended this last year.

PS Lorchan - you DO NOT live in the North East of England  , you're in the Midlands, last time I looked/went through Nottinghamshire. I'm further north than you and even then I'm not far enough north to be classified as from the North-East.
The North-East is Tyneside where the Geordies come from
(where the Geordie 'Mafia' will make you an offer 'yuh-canna-unna-stan'!  )

By the way, working through all the posts, it seems that a number of ladies are wondering about the pressing after the stitching and cutting, but not opening up the squares. This pressing with the fabrics still lying flat helps the stitches to 'sink in' to the fabric and makes for a flatter seam. You could 'stitch the fabric - press the fabric - cut the fabric' instead of 'stitch the fabric - cut the fabric - press the fabric(s)'

Is this the same as setting the seam? This sounds to me to be the same method.
