You people are the most crazy I know. Thanks for a good laugh. I love you all.
I'm in the Wrestling with a big quilt in a small machine right now. Does that count?

Yes Norma, that would have to be in the 'extreme sports' category!

And I think that Margo would have to win the gold medal in the 'International Lifesaving' category.

And I volunteer to represent TQS in the discipline of Rotary Cutter Tossing.
Lorchen is a WILD woman!!
If she does that I think we all need to chip in and purchase a uniform for her made out of that stuff those rotary cutter safety gloves are made out of. I think someone should design a uniform with our Star and letters TQS. Where are the former garment designers among us?
We could either go old-fashioned and make it from ring mail (still used in industrial butchery I believe) or we could come up-to-date with kevlar. the advantages of kevlar is that it wouldn't leave nicks on the blades!

I should think that Elenor Burns has the lifetime gold for scrap shoulder tossing

Its the quilting Pentathlon for me, a little sewing each day, day after day until the last event - some fmq! Patience as the suspense builds to the final day!

Alex would be a lifetime gold for doing hand quilting sprint since she boasts about doing a quilt in 2 days.

Ricky would be a lifetime gold for strip ripping.

                Moi?? Wild??? ..... Never!!

I'm an almost 60-year-old grandmother who has just bought a 'fascinator' for her son's wedding. That makes me soooo well-behaved and conservative.

A couple late entries for the TQS Olympics: 800m fabric bolt hurdling, and quilt frame high jump.

Will the bobbin winding be done by hand or by machine??? And what size bobbins are allowed? Will we all have to use the same thread?? And would I be disqualified for doping if I eat a bar of chocolate before the event starts??

Lets just put the doping to rest her and agree that everybody has to have chocolate before they begin in any event!

                              How about spool-toss?
