Your AAQI quilts are wonderful, Rita and the quilting is delicious--Ireland looks so green and beautiful. You're on the fast track!

Rita I love the photo quilt and I think the sad little beach shack "Waiting for Summer to Return" is just darling!

Rita - Both of your quilts are wonderful! And we are definitely on the same wavelength. I have a couple of photos that I'm planning on making into AAQI quilts. You are just always ahead of me in getting them made!!

Nancy, that's because I don't have the day job to go to! LOL (I just spent all day vacuuming up cobwebs and dust all over the house. Where do they come from?

Diane, I am glad I am not alone.

Thanks everybody for the kind comments. Renata, Ireland is very green - it's from all the rain. :| Rosemary, it's the new machine, Patricia, she just loves to FMQ.

[quote="Reetzbobeetz"]I have made two more quilts for AAQI. The first one is a fabric print of a photo I took of Gallarus Oratory in Co. Kerry. I quilted over the photo and it has given it a sort of 3D effect. The second one was made with an extra spool by Christine Tindall (don't know her TQS name). My son thinks it's too sad and that nobody will buy it! It's called 'Waiting for summer to return'. I am going to register them now.

              The quilts are lovely!

Hope you don't mind if I "borrow" your  . I have some great pictures from México that can make good little quilts and will give me an opportunity to practice fmq.

Whoo Hoo!!!!!!! Just checked the AAQI site and three of my quilts are going to Houston. They are #10133 - The Leaves are Falling From My Memory which I dedicated to my husband, #10134 - Occasional Sparks in My Fading Chain of Memories which is dedicated to my Mom, and #10135 - Love Lived which is dedicated to my friends Doris and George. I am really pumped. I always make jokes about needing to quilt well enough to send a quilt to Houston. Well, low and behold, it will happen. Sure it is not juried (except by Ammi) and it is not quite the same as a large quilt but I can honestly say I HAVE A QUILT IN HOUSTON----- not only that - three!!!!! How cool is that? Hugs to all, Ann
