    Bow Tie block

Thank you for demonstrating the “other” bow tie block method. I like it and will use it in Long Time Gone. Appreciate the information about color, value, intensity and tint. Looking forward to seeing how all of these quilts come together.

Dee, here is my bow tie block. I love the 3 D effect. When I quilt, do I quilt only in the center part of the bow & keep the two sides open & quilt the rest of the bow or do I quilt all over the bow tie? Will the 3 D effect to show? Click image for larger version

I liked the way Dee showed with the 3D center and made mine that way.

Dee I did the 3-D Bow Tie Block that I wanted you to look at & tell me exactly how to quilt it on the quilt.
