Rita! WOW the quilt is stunning and reminds me of those rich folk textiles from eastern Europe or Scandinavia. Now I'd like to know if you are going to hang it or place it on a bed?
      cheers

Rita, my eyes just got big and my jaw dropped to the floor when I saw your gorgeous quilt. Looks like you have circles down to perfection!. Really lovely. I'm sure your quilting when show off your workmanship even more.

Barb, I'm so glad your husband is in remission.
Rita--- I'm speechless. Not enough glowing adjectives or exclamation points on my iPhone.
Sure looks like Master Class work to me. Gorgeous!!

Wow! Thank you all so much for your lovely comments. As for where it will live - for now it is folded up away from the dog, cat, two teenagers and a DH who keeps walking mucky boots into the house. At the moment it measures about 94" X 94" because I added the red sashing strip and made the borders 10 1/2" so it's almost big enough for our Kingsize bed. I could add another red border but I am not sure I want to because I like all the air in the border. My biggest worry is how to quilt it without ruining it. I don't feel ready for it yet so I will probably just fold it up and put it away in a bag until I feel equal to it.

Rita, your quilt version is gorgeous, and echoing the starry cornerstones in the appliqué borders is a stroke of genius! Congratulations on such a stunning completion!

And I don't think it will take very long. Your quilting is already beautiful, so you just have to wait for you confidence to catch up.
