    2010 BOM

Does anyone know when we get to see a sneak peak at the 2010 TQWS BOM? I remember last year in Houston the 2009 BOM was revealed.

We will be "revealing" Sue Garman's new 2010 BOM at the Houston Quilt Festival. Sue has actually created a set of "Sister" quilts for us next year. Of course they are each stunning! Be sure to stop by to get a sneak peek at what we have in store for you next year.

Wonderful, I am so excited. I won't be able to attend the Festival. I have to rely on those who attend to post a photo. Yahoo!!

I'll have to wait till the big reveal here at TQS I hope it's before the end of the year, when my subscription expires. It may determine whether I renew.

I just finished July 2009 yesterday and I am still not finished with borders of 2008. I only going to finish the quilt to October, than finish with a different border.

LOL! I finished through July on the 2008 quilt before I was forced to set it aside to to my godson's christening quilt - which I finished in July of this year. I am finished through the August blocks on this year's BOM, but have had to set that aside for a little bit here because a friend wants me to make new cushions for her lawn furnature. I have no pattern other than the original cushions, so I am ripping them apart for pattern peices, and that is taking longer than actually making the cushions themselves :? I think today I am going to do some prep so I can take the 2008 August block with me to dance for hand applique, get the cutting and pressing done for September 2009 (triangles already sewn, yeah!) and take a break from those blankedy blank blank cushions for a day!!

I've downloaded all the instructions for 2008 and 2009. I guess I'll be very busy when I retire in about 6 years from now.

But I must admit that I'm really excited to see what the 2010 BOM will be like.

I really want to try the BOM next year. I want to do my DJ in between other things-why not have the BOM be the other thing? :P
