    Wow Debbie putting foil on the quilt. What a great idea when you're trying to keep the cat hair from a quilt being given away or going to a show! Clever. :idea:

      Aluminum foil, keeping those quilts-in-progress FRESH! As a former cat owner, I agree, the aluminum foil is a great idea. They also hate double-sided sticky tape, I used to place it near the edge of the kitchen counters to keep them off during the day!

      I haven't gotten much done in the BOM's lately, but I'm starting to get back into the swing, hope to post pictures soon!

        Great blocks ladies! Yes, October is coming with all those circles.

        Debbie, Pam Bono has a wonderful quilt block of a motorcycle on her transportation quilt. I did it for the grandson's quilt and it is super! I thought it was on my blog but it isn't. I'll have to snap a pic of it and get it up there. Course for that, I'll have to have internet service AT HOME, which IKE has temporarily removed for me and millions of others! ha

        I love the tinfoil idea. Why is it that all of our cats are so in love with quilts? I know they are soft, etc., but I just find it so fascinating that almost for granted, that's where they will lie.

                            Thank you everyone, I love toile and was happy to find a spot for it on this vase. Sue has done such a fabulous job in designing these blocks, they allow us so much freedom.

                                Virginia, your block is beautiful, and I love the inset fabric on your vase! Before you re-do your January block, you might want to see how it does after it's been soaked in water. Sharon says she soaks hers at least 2 hours (sometimes overnight) in water with a little Synthrapol to remove the washable glue and soften the foundation fabric. You may find that it's not as stiff as you think it is now! Good luck, and please let us know how it turns out.
