Well Susan, I don't think we were planning to try this until the one we are working on is done. I think a sampler quilt would be nice--will have to look and see what is out there.

You learn a lot on this forum

I think it could be fun to make a miniature, but I don't know if I have the time for it. I'll be watching and decide later.

I would enjoy the challenge. Doing the half size has been quite fun.

On the paper piecing issue. I like freezer paper. It goes through the printer, then you sew on the lines with the sewing machine and no thread, just to perforate the lines, then as you paper piece, you fold the freezer back back out of the way, use the edge as your guide, sewing next to the paper vs. through the paper and when the block is done you simply peel the freezer paper off, easy as could be! Oh you iron the freezer paper to the wrong side of the fabric as you go along to hold in place. I put a video on YouTube about it if anyone is interested. It's my favorite paper piecing method

Oh, I've made many miniature quilts using this method!

Karen, would you post a link to your video?

Thanks, I always wanted to see this technique demonstrated. I probably have, but yours is very clear.
