Thanks Alex, this project has really helped the weeks fly by. I have improved my piecing and now feel confident to try the baskets.
I added the borders after seeing what someone else did. I think it lightened up a dark top.

I’m waiting for more fabric to finish the border. I borrowed the layout from other’s ideas. It’s been a fun experience and definitely got me out of my comfort zone!

GrandPaula. This is one of my faves. There’s a house on it. Oooo! Now I have to make a quilt with a house on it. Jealous me!

I didn't use Kaffe. This is a true quarantine quilt, as I used only my stash. I've happy with the results and feel like I learned a lot. I especially feel like my precision in piecing has improved, which will transfer to all future quilting projects. I've been garment sewing for over 50 years, but quilting for only about 4--I have so much to learn!

This is a EQ8 version of how I might finish my quilt. I'm new to EQ8 so forgive my weird coloring and my sad attempt to do the house and 5th wheel. It will look better when it's really done. It's how I spent my Covid summer. Either at home, or in my camper at a campground, sewing my blocks for this quilt.

I have been lurking in the background of the Kaffe quilt and decided to give it a shot. I've pieced the blocks and put the top together.
For some reason the pix posted sideways

Oitsewkay: WOW! Love your addition of black and white and wonky-ness of the blocks.
