I finished the large and small circle. I tried to post more pics on my progress for some reason I cannot add them. I have to go back and watch the video for more directions. Her technique is different that what I do but I am trying to just use her instructions so I learn her way.

      Got mine today! Yay.....
Just want to make copies of the pattern before using it. Ladies, if you don't, you won't have a pattern for future use.

Mine was shipped but we left on a trip before it arrived so won't get it until we get back next month...sigh...

The pattern is being shipped so I am just playing with the fabric until it arrives. There are lots of comments and pictures in the Show and Tell area to keep me inspired.

Yeah I received my pattern yesterday. Now to get my but in gear to get my fabric selected. This is one project that I need the dvd instructions to follow. I was surprised that the paper was newsprint and not the paper she showed in the video that you can see through. I have done a litle paper pieclng in the past so that should be okay. Have found some of the notes in the pattern confusing. In one place it says you need to add the 1/4" seam as she says in the video and another says all 1/4" seams are included.

I told myself I had to finish the two current projects that I'm working on but I'm thinking now only one. I only have the final border to finish that top.

Love everyone's pics in show n tell

I am having to refer back to the video, the written instructions are a bit confusing. I want to learn her technique so I am trying not to fall back on the way I would usually do it. Her techniques do keep everything nice and square. I am anxious to see your fabric selections.

I am finding this just a bit difficult! I intended to follow the DVD instructions, but after several false starts I realized that the printed templates provided in the pattern for the inner star appear to be backwards from those she uses in her DVD demonstration. I have since recovered(!) and will take more care to understand what needs to be done for each step. There are some great techniques in the DVD that aren't reflected in the written pattern, so I will try to combine the DVD and the written instructions with my own paper piecing knowledge and see how it goes! All the fabric will be from my stash, so it may end up a bit haphazard! Eventually I'll post something in Show and Tell...

All of my fabric came from my stash. It took me all day to come up with my colors. Mine is posted in the show and tell. I have my corner pieces on and hope to do the next step today. I am very pleased with the way it is turning out.

I posted a new picture in show and tell. I have my sashing on. When I posted the new picture it deleted all the comments so I had to repost.

I'm new to The Quilt Show and to this pattern. Got it and took the copyright seriously and didn't copy the pattern (oh, darn). I have done the center star and couldn't have done it without the video...kept going back between the sewing machine and the computer. The 10 minutes shown on video took me 4-5 hours. wish mine looked so good. If i can figure out how, I will post a photo. Rochelle
