Well, I'm back from the wedding of my son (youngest, #4). That's where I was. Quebec City is beautiful! Might do a wedding themed mini quilt for the CW challenge...

Wendy - you will be so proud of me - I wore a fascinator! 8) 8) 8) I fiddled around a bit with some feathers and veil and plunked it atop my head! The mother of the bride and I (mother of the groom) agreed to it. Not so usual here to see hats and things like fascnators at weddings, as in England. So, it's like ...if you dare, so will I! Such fun! I haven't got any pictures of me yet.

Well it was the first time I'd worn a hat since a skullcap in my school days a few years ago. Glad you had fun.

Thanks again. If it weren't for you I would not have a complete collection of these patterns.

This is not the Birmingham thread but I can't resist posting this picture here. Lorchen, I'm sorry that you are a bit blurred. That's not how I experienced you

Norma, it's good seeing both the quilt and Lorchen here. Good view of that quilt. I had no idea of its size. I was picturing it on a room size wall. It would look good even bigger.

What fun! I do love that quilt, and I'm pretty fond of the person next to it!
