I don't know about making that quilt but nice setting for putting together the house blocks we get when we get round to swapping.

Thanks for all the well wishes! I took the gauze off today to clean it and it looks nasty but should heal fine. No loss of feeling so that is good. I think I am sold on the klutz glove. Sure don't want this to happen again.

Debbie, glad to hear you are healing. This should be a reminder to all of us to be more careful. Take care, Pat

Love the Christmas House quilt. I printed the into and the 1st. block. Hope I can keep up with it.

Well, I've always been a day late and a dollar short, but what the heck, I'm here now. Back to the top of this thread, I have also noticed a decline in activity on TQS. And, truthfully, it kind of worries me. The HST exchange was incredibly good for activity in the TQS community, and I made a lot of wonderful friends, many if whom I have been blessed to meet at Houston Festival, and still stay in close contact with a few.

As to why I have not been as active as I used to be; I blame it on the gift of an IPad. I play games and am building up my boards on Pinterest. A major time consumer, but I am learning a lot. I have pinned so many wonderful machine quilting pictures, and looked at them so often, that I feel I could just jump right in and quilt just as good! Not! But, here is a sneak peak at some quilting that I have been doing on my 20 year old Janome.

Now to figure out how to quilt the border! It is a UFO from a Caryl Bryer Fallert class from Festival a few years ago.
Today I will go back and read all 8 pages of this thread and see what all of you are up to. I did see that Margo is up and running again, and that BJ, you are still having fun being creative. Your design is very nice!

Hi Dawn, that is a beautiful quilt. Glad to see you here.

Wow Dawn, the fabrics in your quilt are amazing - and so is their use. Good to see you here again, don't be a stranger, we need all the fun friends we can get chatting in here.

That's beautiful, Dawn! Isn't Caryl a great teacher? I've taken a couple of classes from her at Houston.
