    Folding a Quilt

I just ran across this older blog by "Piece O Cake" and thought it worth sharing!

Good to know when traveling, or shipping a quilt or storing it at home!

Origami for quilts, I didn't know about not folding on the straight grain

I heard about this folding technique a few years ago and it really works. All the folds are on the bias so no permanent creases in the quilt. Works on any size.

I've dealt with the after effects of a linen embroidered bedspread that had been stored for a very long time folded in half & quarters etc on the grain - it was very, very boring darning that went on for weeks & weeks..... Nice to see an alternative solution
