TODAY? Your birthday is today? ME TOO! I went out and bought a bunch of fabric so I could continue on with the current BOM. I am using a black background and needed LOTS of blacks. So now maybe I can finish month one, since I needed the black just to finish off the outer stars tips AND that thin outer ring! I have lots of black and whites for the areas that lend themselves to a scrappy look, but that outer ring really needed one continual piece. And, I have a super good friend with an Accu GO! who cut my circles for me! It will be a while before I get one! But, I am so happy for you! Happy Birthday! I'll be thinking of you today!
Hugs!

Happy Birthday Betty Jo and Dawn. Betty Jo, enjoy your new gift. Dawn I wish I had a friend who would loan me their Go.
Lotti, I like you new picture.
We were safe from the tornadoes, but my grandchildrens' school closed for the day yesterday just to be safe. After the damage on Wednesday we were all scared. There was one tornado about 20 miles away from my home, but no lives lost there. We did lose a couple of shingles off our roof from the high winds. I am so thankful for being safe, but am praying for the ones who were not so lucky.

Happy Birthday, Dawn and Betty Jo. Lotti, your new photo is beautiful. I must post a new one of me too, if I can get someone to take a good one!
Those tornadoes are awful, heart-wrenching to see the photos of the damage. It's early for tornadoes, too, so no one was expecting this.
I'm saying prayers for all in the area. TQS'er's keep safe!

Thank you all for the birthday well wishes. I would like to say I spent the day sewing, as that WAS the plan. But alas, life got in the way! We have a 'frig that has been getting noisier and noisier, and running longer and longer, and this morning when I took some bread out of the freezer to make toast, it was soft. Not a good sign! Then when I looked way in back of the freezer, there was quite a build up of frost. (It is a frost free model and only 4 years old.) To make a long story short and simple, the freezer had frozen up! We spent the day taking it apart (DH is an engineer) and thawing it with hair dryers. Ice was 2 to 3 inches thick all across the backside, hidden behind a metal panel. The temp sensor connections had shoddy workmanship, right from the factory, but is now all put back together, and done RIGHT this time. And, the last load of towels (from sopping up ALL that melted ice) are washed and now drying. NOW I can sew! If I don't fall asleep first!
