    IPAD CASE

Recently someone posted an item in the blog about a free pattern for an IPAD case. I did not bookmark the site but now am interested in making one for a future purchase. Does anyone know where it can be found?

Thanks, I found this one on my own but it was not the one I am seeking. The one in my memory was made in batiks I think(st least it was a subtle print) and had a flap

Check out Projects on the purple bar, there is a I-Pad Sleeve posted around 8/23 or 8/24 2010.

Could you tell us where you found the one you were looking for? I am getting an Ipad in the near future and looking at all the different cover links posted here has been helpful to me.

I tried pdquilt's link. (the first response to my quest.) While it is not what I remembered seeing originally I think I can use one of the patterns shown at this site with a flap. I can probably adapt it to what I want.

A Google search for "pattern for i pad cases" produces several sites to check!

By golly Barbara you hit the "jackpot." That is indeed the pattern I saw.It wasn't on the blog after all. That's what happens when the brain gets old. Being cheap I will probably still go with one of the free patterns mentioned above. Thanks to you all for your help.

Happy to help! At least now you know where to go if your other choice doesn't work out. It just so happened that I just got my Keepsake Quilting catalog in the mail and saw the pattern. I remembered reading your post and thought it might be an option for you. It's great that it was the very pattern you were looking for. Now you can stop wondering where you saw it, at least. :-)

The folks at Connecting Threads also have a pattern available. It's a foldout like a book and has several different choices of covers. The website is: http://www.connectingthreads.com

By the way, a recent program on Sewing With Nancy also demonstrated making one with great tips on making it sturdy enough to be longlasting.
