Well, Loren strength has improved but he is still doing a lot of napping. Now if he doesn't get mad at my nagging him to drink water--all will be well. Thank you for your prayers.

Ritzy, try just leaving a full glass next to him where he naps and suggest that he must be thirsty when he wakes up. If it is readily available to hand he might be more likely to drink some.

Or..................slip a smidgen of bourbon in the glass too! tee hee Or lemon juice, or whatever makes it more appealing.

Rosemary--he has the glass right next to him and I keep telling him--honey you need to drink some water. Some times he just does it but most times he curls his lip at me

Hi, it is some while since I have been on here as life has got in the way. I have just got an email from Anne Ehlers (Anne1 I think) Her husband, Wolf, had a heart attack last night and is in hospital. She said 'His blood pressure has been very low but if it improves they may do a bypass or another procedure. the prognosis is not good and his heart is in bad shape.' The severity of his condition is such that her son is on his way from his home in Australia to UK at this moment.

Please keep them in your prayers.

Love and prayers coming your way, Anne! Such a scary situation! I pray the doctors and staff are the best, and your DH finds comfort in them!

Thank you, Charae, Wendy, Karen, Luann, Lotti, Dawn, Judy for all your prayers and good wishes, and to Pam my dear friend for posting.
We picked up our son from the airport and drove straight to the hospital.
Wolf isn't looking too bad and hopefully if his blood pressure stays good....it was very low....they will assess him for possible bypass surgery. It all depends on how badly the heart muscle is damaged, we will hopefully know later in the week.
It is lovely seeing our son I just wish it was under different circumstances. The last time we saw him was October 2012 for our Golden wedding anniversary.
Our daughter has been a tower of strength and is staying here with me. As you can imagine we are all very tired but coping.
                            Love to you all

Anne, it is a fact that often our families gather in time of crisis rather than when we can all just relax and laugh. I do pray you will be able to laugh although your hearts are heavy with worry and concern. Hopefully surgery will be an option. Having been there, done that, in 2004, I pray for a good outcome and for laughing and talking and loving in the process!
