Keeping you in prayer Dawn for succesful surgery and an exceptionally fast recovery.
I happened to be driving home from Christmas shopping when I heard President Obama addressing the nation about the tragedy. His words were very touching and I found myself wiping away tears for the rest of the trip home. What would we do if we couldn't pray? Bless you all dear friends. This Prayer List prayer group is a privilege I cherish.
    Blessings,

Hopefully next year I will be in a better and we can celebrate his life the way we should. Right now, I need to do some therapy quilting.'

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who have sent me emails, and those of you who have posted here on this thread, with thoughts and prayers for me. A sudden calm came over me Sunday afternoon, and when I went to my computer, there you all were. As I told Robin, the power of prayer always amazes me! Thank you ever so much!

I held off writing a thank you, because I wanted to let you know what time the surgery will be. I have to report to the hospital at 6:00 AM. My body won't even be awake then!

I have had many distractions today, which was a good thing! I had calls from a couple of the kids, and a neighbor friend. The latest news is that our son plans to become engaged on Christmas, and our oldest daughter's book is now on the Simon and
Schuster's web site. Just Google Simon and Schuster/Celeste Jenkins. The name of the book is The Lost (and found) Balloon. Super proud Mom here! So The Lord has kept me upbeat, busy, and calm today!

Again, thank you all! I will make sure Robin finds out how surgery went, and she can keep you updated.

                        Hugs!

So many congratulations, Dawn! In 12 hours you will be reporting to the hospital and getting ready for surgery, which means you will be feeling a lot better again soon! Congratulations to Celeste on her first book--I found it online and it sounds like a great children's book; I look forward to seeing it in print in June... I will keep an eye out for it. Congratulations to your son on his upcoming engagement and have a very happy holiday surrounded by those you love who will serve you hand and foot during this holiday because you will be resting and recovering! Sounds like you just got out of cooking and washing dishes for Christmas!   Will look forward to hearing from Robin how you're doing. Cheers!

Congratulations to your daughter and her new book. You have a right to be proud.
Also congratulations and much happiness to your son on his engagement.
