Just got home from Mauritius (didn't see any Dodos) to find the most amazing row from Cathy. It's superb beautiful appliqué birds of all sorts! Wait till you see it!!! Thank you so much, I'm in awe of the time you must have spent

I was wondering when it would arrive. The post office did not have any idea of how long it would take to get to you.
It is so fun to see what everyone comes up with.

Here are the birds that have flown over to me. We don't have cardinals, blue jay or hummingbirds here. I saw cardinals when I went to South Carolina they are amazing so bright. We have woodpeckers but not sure they are that colour, I've never seen one. Is the little black and white one a swallow? and what is the brown bird with the longer tail? Love them all.

Yesterday's mail brought me 2 lovely batiks and a new pair of scissors from Rosemarie! Yay! How did you know I needed new scissors?

Wendy, I think that is a great idea. That way when we make rows for upcoming rowers we will have an idea of what they have already.

Wendy, the little black and white bird is a chickadee. The only pattern I could find was a view of his bottom side. The other is a robin. I guess he is the early bird catching the worm.

I'm loving all of the recent rows each of you has shown! And, the batiks with a pair of scissors! We are such a cool group! Rosemarie, I will be working on your row as we celebrate National Quilt Day, on the 19th. My current project isn't that toteable, so I will do rows. I'll be mailing it closer to the end of the month, and will give you a heads up when it is mailed.
