Yes, Annis, that is a beautiful quilt! I really like the lotus blossom!
Geneva, such a sweet little face! Thanks for sharing that one!
Dorothy, great use of a great northwest panel!
Terrie, I will be hand appliquèing the circles. First, one to another, so when I am done I will have one big, floppy, whole unit. Then I will set that unit onto the background, and appliqué around the outer edges. I can then remove all background from behind the appliqué. That is how I did my jester for last year's challenge. Kind of a funky way to appliqué, but it works for me.

Dorothy - The attic windows top turned out great!
Dawn - I wondered how you'd applique your circles too.

Thanks. I was surprised to see it when I signed on. It's one of the few quilts I made from someone else's pattern and the one that inspired my Confetti miniature quilt. I actually made it to show a different way of piecing the nine patch blocks with my seam guide and was going to teach a class but that never happened. The attic window quilt looks great! I need to make one of those.

Dorothy, I just received a customer quilt top in on Friday with the deer panel in attic windows! I thought it seemed so familiar to me... yes, from here. She wants it custom quilted so it will take a lot of time of thinking and revving my motor (much encouragement) to get that one!

I still have a bit of cutting to do for a mystery quilt but I'm nearly done.

I've finished sanding on an old treadle machine yesterday and plan to just finish it with a rub/oil today. I'm glad my husband brought the electric sander to the house and I could use that. Slick!!! :cheer:

I would like to use it as a table in our main living area to hold my featherweight. Then it will be nearby and upstairs for a bit of piecing in the dark nights.

I took a break, after making around 300 circles for my Hoffman Challenge, and did a quick mini for our LQS license plate contest. I hand painted the trees with Sharpie markers, and did confetti cutting for the rest. I love how it turned out. The best thing is, I did it quickly! Which is unusual for me!!! The public votes on their favorite. I'll know how it did by the end of March.
