Yes, Sue, this Celtic Solstice quilt I will keep. It really works well in the guest bedroom. I'm going to start cutting the strips for Grand Illusion this morning. I will still have to finish a couple of other time-sensitive sewing projects before I really start putting the Broken Dishes blocks together, though!Comment

I got my pictures uploaded. The first step was to make 280 half-square triangles:
Then we had to use 200 of those in these 4-square blocks:
(I laid them out on the floor to see how I like the colors together.) So, I'm right on track for now.....Comment

Hi girls, yes I am also jumping in, but I don't have a lot of those colors, so more fabric purchasing, boo hoo! I am going to Seattle on Sat. to play Grammie for 4 days and WILL be going to Pacific Fabrics, so may just get it there.

I'm using my vintage Singer 404 to piece with...I think I may have learned to sew on this model in Home Economics.
