      Good Morning!

I added the ...Question about posting a comment to the subject here because I didn't see a heading for general questions related to the Daily Blog.

OK - here's my question: I wanted to post a comment under two of the beautiful quilt in the recent Daily Blog post. I wrote my comment and I didn't check the little box to the left under the comment box that gives the option for the comment to be posted on Facebook. But, before my comment would actually post a Facebook sign in window popped up requiring me to sign into FB.

Without writing a long discourse on the pro's and con's of FB (of which I could write a book by now:-), I deleted my Facebook account around 8 - 9 months ago. I'm just not using it any longer. Obviously, when that window popped up I didn't sign into FB and my comment on the quilt didn't post. Do we have to be active on FB to post a comment on the Daily Blog? I haven't posted in a while and honestly, I don't remember if it's always been that way or not.

Any help will be appreciated - thanks in advance!

Becky, as a test, I just posted a comment on the Daily Blog--the beautiful quilt, front side, that won a big award. It posted only on the Daily Blog and there was no mention of FB. All I can guess is the little "Share FB" was checked somehow.

I suggest you try again to post a comment on the Daily Blog--if FB pops up again perhaps you have a setting somewhere that is set for Default--really just guessing on that.

If that is still what happens and you can't find a way to turn off the Share FB option, please write to customerservice@thequiltshow.com

        I hope this helps.

There's no such thing as deleting an account from Facebook. I've tried several times but my account remains available to the public. I've never included any personal info in my account or posts, so I'm not concerned about it being used. But, it's very annoying that deletion really isn't an option!

Like you, I could write a book about my thoughts and experiences on Facebook! My grandkids want me to join Instagram so they can share things with me. I told them to send me a phone message, call me or, dare I say, write me a letter.
