    Something is amiss!

John.......I'm sorry that I needed to start a new topic, but I am denied access to many (including yours) forums this morning. Also, there are many of the most current pages missing from the Virtual Retreat forum that I was going to check on. And, when I click on "Recent Topics" the Virtual Retreat does not even show up, although a couple of ladies did post yesterday. So, something is going on. Just thought I'd let you know.

Oh my, my access is denied to the topic "Posts Disappearing". I know these technical issues must be a headache for TQS.

I also received the "access denied" even though it shows there are new posts, TQS, do hope you are watching this and working on fixes. It has become very frustrating to log in to TQS, you never know what will be missing,

Lots of things seem amiss in the forum. People find it difficult to use. What we need from TQS right now is for them to let us know they hear us and are working to fix all of this so we can enjoy the friendships, sharing of our quilting adventures, and get help when we have a question. A clear statement from those at the top of what is going on and what is being done about it would be very helpful for all of us. I presume also that the blogs are never coming back, so they could tell us why when they tell us what is going on with the forum. I have long loved this site and hope these problems can be totally fixed because I would love to see TQS go on for years to come, and the forum is an important part of that.

I PM'd Wendy yesterday when I got the "access denied" message. She knows about it and is experiencing it herself, too. So they are working on it. She doesn't think we will be getting our blogs back, but is still checking on it. It will at least be nice to get a definitive answer after just being ignored for these years! I think it's the just not answering the question because they know we won't like the answer that makes me the maddest!

I"m with you, Nancy, about the no responses. We've been on this site a long, long time and know how it ran so smoothly under IT Bob's guidance! Thank goodness Wendy is trying to keep us posted. Three cheers for her!

Nancy, it's good to know that someone inside TQS knows of the problem and is trying to work through it. Thanks for contacting Wendy. And, thanks Wendy. We "old timers" and charter members are used to many, many years of problem free TQS. This is frustrating!

As to the blogs.......a lot of talented people are not even here anymore, because they used the blogs as a quilting journal. I so miss Keith's blogs! I loved to watch his progress on a quilt. And, he would ask us "Is this fabric better, or do you like this one best?" Back in the good old days........
