Lorchen I love it ! As I get older I could almost grow one.
Have you noticed that we have had another sex change? We are now female. Hurrah!

:silly: LOL! Quilters are such a creative and funny group.

Webmaster Bob fixed the gender problem today, now we can all act like ladies again. Silly, fun-loving ladies. :P

Thank you, Kathy, for looking after us and our diverse and sometimes special needs. :cheer:

We all got very comfortable in using the old board. It often felt like we were all sitting together in the same room. This new site requires many of us to go back to school, activity our sleepy brain cells and learn everything all over again. But, given time and support, I'm sure we can do it!

Right now I feel a little like my younger granddaughter: I just about manage to climb up onto the sofa, but I haven't got a clue yet how to get back down.

This reminds me of something Cindy Needham taught in her free motion quilting class I took in July 2013. She told the class that when people learn something new, they experience "disequilibrium". It's the frustration you feel when you become uncomfortable as your brain is making new connections in the learning process. She said some students get angry, yell, cry, groan... sound familiar? So, as Cindy said, "hang in there!" Soon we will settle into our new comfort zone.
