Yikes! Yes, it's something we warn kids about, not everyone on the web is who they say they are.

Thank you, Kathy. Who gets to choose the topicons? Who's the moderator?
I am the moderator and of course John and Bob can change things, but they don't read much in the forum so I pass on info to them. I think anyone can add an icon when they start a topic - it's hard for me to distinguish what others can't do or see since as a moderator I have special access.
You could create a non-administrator account so that you can test things.

Nancy, You mean, just to see how they work?

To see how things work and to test for bugs. In fact, she should probably create 2 non-admin accounts so she can test things like friending and sending personal messages. Then she can record things like the window where you accept a friend request not going away after you click "Accept" so it looks like it doesn't work (a bug I've reported several times) and other similar problems. Really, someone from TQS should be going through every button on every page of the site, using a non-admin account, and make sure that they work and that they give sufficient feedback to show that they work. Just standard testing practices.

Good idea. I have noticed the buttons that don't repond when you accept or add things, happens to me, too.

I really don't have that kind of time. Just like the rest of us I want to be quilting and I come here to relax.
Kathy, Please report to TQS that we are aware this is being handled as it should be handled. I want TQS to going through the site and test every button and fix it if it doesn't work. Please use standard testing practices and get it fixed.

                Everything needs to be tested.
