Redwork Show with Rosie de Leon-McCrady

What a wonderful show! I was taught redwork many, many years ago in home economics in school. The teacher I had just loved it and we were willing students. Over the years I've done cross stitch, knitting, and now love to quilt. But I always have a redwork project to do when I'm between quilting on quilts because to me it's just so relaxing. Thanks TQS for introducing me to her and all she has to offer.

I thoroughly enjoyed this show! My grandma taught me embroidery very young & it has stayed with me. Have done crewel, counted cross stitch & quilting. Learned to love redwork because I don't have to keep referring back to the color chart. LOL

I do quite a lot of blackwork. The only difference to redwork that I can see is that I count thread when doing blackwork, so the patterns or/and motifs are very accurate.

      I really enjoyed that show!
