    Pepper Cory Show #1007

I would like to know what type of material was used on the back of the wool log cabin sample block. I don't believe it was mentioned. :?:

Peguina, the black fabric is not described in the video, but the one hanging behind Pepper and Ricky used all kinds of different fabrics.

OK, Peguina, I also asked her about the black thimble she used and this is what I just got back from Pepper Cory:

There wasn't a 'wool block' persay--I TALKED about the quilters on the Isle of Man using wool in THEIR quilts but all my samples were cottons/cotton mixes etc. If she means the blue backing on the wall hanging, that's a solid deep navy, 100% cotton, a homespun texture, woven (I think) in India.
The thimble: I uses lots of thimbles and it was honestly the one that surfaced that day in the sewing box. This was a rubber/latex mix thimble, a tad pricey. Here's their website http://www.customthimbles.com/ --called a PQF thimble.
      Hope this helps
      Pepper
