I have a historic home is Lower Town Paducah and have decided to open one room for lease ( Quilt Show 2013 ). It's one of the nicer homes in the historic arts district and 3 blocks from the show - within walking distance to all restaurants and galleries. I'm one block from the famous Briar Patch Quilt Studio. This home is on the Home Tour during the week. There is a shuttle that takes attendees all over town to view various displays not at the main center. Go to Googlemaps.com, the address is 502 N 6th Street, 42001, and you will see the house. The room for lease is large and includes a queen size bed, sitting area and private bath. There's a kitchen of course, and a large front porch for drinking wine after a hard day at the show. This is my first venture into leasing a room so I am only opening one room this year. I will lease for 4 nights @ $275 (single or double occupancy - non smoking). The home is an elegant restored 130 year old original house and sits in the center of all the galleries. I have a Candle Gallery in one room on the first floor. Actually, the Forum is not a place where ads are placed. Members are often suspicious when someone joins one day and places ads soon after. The messages are often reported by the membership and TQS removes them. I suggest you read past posts because I have read some regarding looking for rooms in Paducah.
