I have a friend who does 1/12 scale miniatures (in embroidery) - that could be an interesting experiment for this years BOM.

Sally is one of the most professional quilt teachers I've ever had and you can see why in this video. It's like a private class with her and is SUPER!
The most important thing is that her techniques/suggestions apply to all piecing, not just minatures.

I'm going to mention this opportunity in my next blog so that more people can see the incredible value of our TQS membership!

So many really good tips and hints. Some I'd worked out for myself but not many. I'll certainly be paying more attention on my next pieced work. Thank you TQS

Rosemary, I might be able to do it 1/12 size if I were doing needle point or cross-stitch.

I agree with everybody that this video is a treasure. It has given me the push to try again if I can learn to match points and seams and end up with blocks that measure what they should measure. Thank you TQS!

The cure for my inaccuracies is definitely in there !
Thanks to Sally, TQS, and C & T for providing this for us all.
I'll be watching about 100 times more and hope I'll absorb it all

After watching Sally Collins on Precision Piecing, I tried her techniques for cutting, sewing, pinning, and pressing. She is a great teacher. I was amazed at the difference her techniques made in the accuracy of my latest quilt. Every block went together perfectly. My longarm quilter will be pleased, too. The biggest surprise for me was that I was more relaxed than I've ever been while sewing, but I'm not sure why. Maybe because I slowed down and was focusing on how I was working instead of how fast I could get it done or maybe because it all went together without any struggles. In any case, I can't wait to start another project. Thanks TQS for making this available to members.
