    Show 911

Well, I didn't see a thread for this so I will start one. I finally got a chance to sit down and watch this show. As you can guess, I really love DeJonge's work! I love the complexity and the color usage. It was interesting to find that I work the same way she does when doing paper piecing. Once again, ARJJ has given us a great show. Thanks folks.

I enjoyed this show very much, too. Once again I experience that events just fit together, because I had just designed (in EQ7) a New York Beauty quilt for my nephew and was going to practice the sewing, when this show came up. After seeing the show I realized that instead of printing out templates for paper piecing I could just print out the block, put some marks on the lines to know how it goes together again and then cut the pieces apart. It works brilliantly. The idea of using the machine to mark the 1/4" seam allowance solved all my problems. I wonder why I never came up with that idea  .
