That's a very pretty block, Dawn. I'm also looking forward to the finish. Those 1/2" logs are quite small.

Thanks ladies! Just don't hold your breath! You will turn blue if you do! I will be returning to this year's TQS BOM, before I return to the pineapple. And, then there's the HST quilt. Also a small quilt with small pieces. Let's just say I am not bored!

            Dawn,
That block is so restful looking. Blue and white is my favorite combination. Sounds like you have a lot coming up but I didn't see the 2012 BOM on your list. Hmm??..........

Dawn, I love your blue & white block! Now you have inspired me! My friend bought the ruler and has really been enjoying making the blocks, but they were a little too busy for me. But now I see how gorgeous a two color quilt would be. And especially love your snow theme :-)

Dawn I also love your blue and white with the snow flakes, and also agree that I have been a bit wary of the fussy fabrics in these blocks but yours is stunning and will be giving this a lot more thought and add to my list of quilts to make

I enjoyed the 909 show so much too. I ordered the book and ruler right away and just finished my quilt top

Thank you. I did a lap size for the instant happiness. I've been on Gyleen's facebook and the next one will be snail trail style with the blue as the trail. I have lots for RWB fabric to use up and this is such a great way to use scraps and fabric to make room for something new.
