which show was Alex showing little piece inserts into a bloc

I scrolled through past shows looking for Alex showing how she inserted small slices of a contrasting color into a square of fabric. I hope I wasn't dreaming. Does anyone remember?

Suz, I seem to remember Ricky doing that, in the first part of one of the shows. If I remember which one, I'll come back and post an answer.

My mind is going, could have been Ricky - not that they look alike lol. I will try Episode 711 to tide me over. The time spent scrolling was productive as I found several episodes I will rewatch. Thanks ladies

I remember Alex's demonstration, and if I remember correctly it was what she used to make the wedding quilt for Joey and Shelly. I hope someone remembers which episode it was. I would like to watch it again!

applause applause , Karen. That was not THE demonstration I was thinking of but very close. I think what I saw was not a sliver from seam to seam but, just inserted like a slender V shape. Episode 302 gives me some other options to roll around in my brain.

Here is the wedding quilt that Alex made for Joey and Shelley with the narrow strips: daily-blog/105-alex/12570-the-wedding-quilt

And I think that the slender "V" shape was demonstrated by Ricky.

Yes I bet 801 is the one you want. I didn't suggest it since it is Ricky.

Well Ta Da!!!!#801 was it. Wish I had a prize package to send you ladies. I may just try all the sliver tricks listed above. What a great community to inspire and ask questions. Thanks so much.

How funny, Karen for me to remember the technique , but not who taught it. Thanks for your help.

That's funny and you're very welcome. While looking I was reminded of several shows I'd like to rewatch. Maybe I'll do that some rainy day.
