Once again, I LOVE DAVID TAYOR!

I am starting a new project and knew immediately I wanted to use David's methodology from watching him on TQS during the 4th (#406) season. I went back and re-watched it and YeS! it is exactly what I needed to see again. Some of my already begun project needed re-doing, but not much! He does exactly what I wanted to do!

Except, dear David, I'm using a little glue! tee hee

I have rewatched David's episode a lot so I can't wait to see what you've got going on Lynn. He amazes me.

Well, our local applique group had a challenge to take an envelope with 3 colors and do a piece that was to include applique but not to be exclusive. I found a real live "pink" (one of my 3 colors) dragon fly with purple and blue markings (REALLY,I DID!) and that's my challenge. Here's the photo! I know it's a photo I got off the web, but since it's not for competition, I feel it's ok. Hope I'm right about that. I'm just trying to improve my skills.

From another David Taylor fan I say...Whoo Hoo you are going to have fun and his method (plus a bit of glue) is perfect for this photo. Can't wait to see it as you progress with the creation of your piece!

I have a HUGE crush on David Taylor. I took his class last summer and use most of his techniques. I think I am in love. He has the bluest eyes and is a very nice man. You will enjoy his class very much. He is also very knowledgeable.

Wish I WERE taking his class. I've only seen his TQS show in the 4th season. Also met him at the HQ booth as he quilts on a sit down HQ 16. His demo was delightful, but very simple. Which is not what his quilts are!
