    Freida's Fusing

Wow, I can say that I have learned some new ways to fuse, I really like the way she transfers her pieces. I am going to have to get the book to see it over and over again, I don't know about you, but, the paper always argues with me. I have enough that disagrees with me, I don't need paper to do it as well.
This show was so filled with info, I will be watching this one over and over again.
You know if there is one thing I have learned over the years with TQS that even if you don't do some of the projects or some of the art quilts, there is always something that I have learned or something that adds to my quilt basket that I can use. Bits and pieces are what makes us who we are.
Thank you TQS for all the bits and pieces.

Debbie, I was very lucky last year and spend half a day in one of Frieda's workshops. You'll love her techniques. And besides the book you should also consider getting a length or two of her hand-dyes (cotton or silk). The quality is top-notch, and the colours are amazing.

Lorchen, I am going to get one or two pieces, but, because of the price I can't decide which color. I am drooling with all the beautiful color. I am truly excited, I love fusing and applique. I will be getting the book tomorrow.

Debbie, because of the way that Frieda dyes her fabrics you'll get more than one colour in a length of fabric. That opens up so many ways of using it. And that fabric really is worth the money you spend on it.

Lorchen, I just received Freida's book, and her pumpkin pattern is in there. I will be heading for her website to spend sometime figuring what I need. I am truly excited. This will be fun. Some art for my new sewing room. Yippee. Thanks, I will analyzing the fabric choices. This will be fun.

Debbie, I haven't got the book yet, but it's on my 'must get' list. Please, share pictures when your pumpkin is done.
