    Members?

I just finished watching Pat Holly's show! So talented and so real. I have a question-are a lot of the guests members of TQS? It would be great to have a forum set up where we could ask questions.

I've often wondered how many shows an audience manage to sit through before another audience has a chance.

I've noticed Jeanie Sumrall-Ajero in a lot of them and one or two faces from the forum. (Or who I think are from the forum)

It would be nice for a web question to be asked, a bit like the ones asked for The Quilt Life I guess.

Eileen, I have no idea how many are members, or that ever check this web site, but I used to enjoy the TQS on-line "Chats" that were set up with the celebrities shortly after their episode aired. There hasn't been one of those since last August, but you can still read the transcripts. Look under "FORUM" on the purple bar and click on "chat" from the drop-down menu. You will find the list of chats under chat transcripts and can select the one you want to read from the drop-down menu.

Amoret, I've never been to a taping, but when they offer the tickets, you have to commit to staying for the entire day's tapings which covers several epidodes. Maybe someone who has been for the tapings can give us more info.

That way, the audience stays put, and the guests are rotated through the day, in an effort to streamline the process, and be sure that each audience is a full house.

I did notice in this latest show that there was a table filled with bottles of water. It was at the beginning, when Justin went into the studio.
Since DH Mike is now retired, I'm hoping to talk him into a road trip one of these days

I have been fortunate enough to attend four tapings. I was in the Pat Holly audience and Linda Taylor. It was the same day, because of theGammil set up for both ladies. Jeannie was in the audience for about 3 tapings and was a guest for a show. I really don't know if they are all TQS members, but the audience is small and there are a lot of TQS members in the front range, Kansas, etc.

The tapings are a long day. You get a break in the middle of the show and a long lunch and then the new show and get out about 5 p.m. There aren't any scripts and sometimes they have to do more than one take for a segment. Sometimes the giggles start and all is lost. It is very much fun. I really feel for Alex, Ricky and the crew. because their days are even longer. The tapings take about 5 or 6 days and they do 2 a day. They won't be doing any more tapings until Sept. so I am gearing up again. The goodie bags are awesome. You get way more than they mention on the shows.

It is my understanding that only members of TQS can get tickets for the tapings. Now they can bring a spouse or friends but the person ordering the tickets must be a member. This was established two or more years ago because of the amount of "giveaways" and the sponsors want to know that the people receiving them are the people who will appreciate them and hopefully use them and buy more. Sigh..... I'd love one of those goody bags. What a treat, especially if you like surprises.

I used to lend my voice to recordings for examination tapes (German GCSE and A-Levels), and my friends were all very impressed about the fee I was paid - until they found out how much work was involved. Recording the same dialogue ten times was not unusual. The whole TQS production team has my total admiration!
