I LOVE, LOVE ,LOVE the new format. I have a Mac and it worked fine.
I was hooking my old laptop to my tv to see the shows but don't have the hookup for this one yet. It will be amazing when I do.
Is everyone remembering to download they recommended?
I hope we keep this format. The older shows are not going to be able to be switched to the new format? That would be nice.

Hi Capt'n John, I tried viewing a few minutes of the new show this morning, and this time it looks just fine! Visual and audio nicely sync'd up. And I even tried on full-screen (I have a 22-inch screen). Lovely! So, evidently my problems were with my Internet service somehow. Thanks, Robin

I am finally getting a chance to watch the Carol Doak show, and I am not happy with the new format. I get to watch a few seconds of the show, then everything stops for a few seconds to let the next bit read it. It is taking an two hours to watch a one hour show. When the show stops in mid-word, I miss words. I can not just stop the play and let it read in (I can do this on other sites). Any suggestions?

I feel like I have missed some important instructions on using the new format.

Is there a way to pause the show? I always get interrupted when I watch a show. I have to have a pause button! Or a way to reverse to where I lost my place and go forward from there!

              Thanks!

Just move your mouse a bit and a bar will come up across the bottom of the screen where you can pause, or move forward or backward in the show.

                  Thank you!

I never would have stumbled on that on my own.

I also didn't understand what some were saying about the full screen. Now I know!

                  Thanks again!

I just wanted to add my WOW on the full screen format. Love it! Also like the new approach for watching the specific segment I want. Thank you!! Jan

Like the slide bar to choose the section.

Like the size even when not full screen.

Don't like the fact that faces are made up of 5 pixels.

I feel ill when the camera moves too fast. When it's still, it's just about ok. The kaleidescope quilt had no clarity in it at all until the last second when the camera stopped and the spiral quilting appeared.

I tried watching in the slower format but after the 25th stop to gather information during the main segment, I gave up.

That's two shows I've not enjoyed. It could still be my end though, don't know how but... :?

Amanda, I have no problems, and my connection is a BT medium price range broadband, plus a 5 year old computer, and we are in the same country.

I don't think it's the PC...I think it is my internet provider, hughesnet. They claim to be high speed, but are not much better than dial-up. They can get away with that because us rural folks have no other option. I never had any problems with the previous system.

I have Hughes Net too... I am very disappointed with them especially with the FAIR USEAGE LIMITATIONS... I would have to get up at 2am to be able to see the shows... my poor body just can not do it.

I am not sure about your hook up and format but I find when I went to a video site with my old computer I had to let things load for a while before watching the videos..... I hooked up ... went and made a cup of coffee or tea, got a snack then settled into watch.

I know my hubby has to do this when he watches the tv shows on HULA. He just loads the shows for 10-15 minuets then comes back to the feed. He says it loads the rest in the background while he is watching the tv shows.... they have less commercials too...something he actually misses cause those were his get a snack break times.

Have had a problem with the video feed. I get part way through the show and the audio continues but the video locks up. I did not have any problems with the previous viewer.
I also do not like the fast forward in this viewer or the lack of chapters when I want to go back and review an earlier show.
I do like the new size and the picture quality is better (when it is working)

LR, most other sites I watch a video in I do exactly that but it doesn't seem to work for me in this on. Even if I leave it running and go away then go back to the beginning it still coughs and splutters.

                                BUT...

I am hitting my throttle. It just so coincides with the TQS launch of their new player which is very very download hungry and has pushed it over the limit. I am on a rolling threshold and also, like you, if I watch between 12 and 6am I have twice as much usage.

They are putting up a new satellite in the next few months which will double my monthly quota. I can't wait.

I can still watch F&P, Simply Quilts, Justhands on and Design Matters all ok because their download isn't as hungry.

I will carry on struggling for the minute and sit along way from the screen to preserve my santiy!
