If I could change anything about the new screen, I'd like to be able to rewind and fast forward like we did with the old one. Or...maybe we can and I just don't know how to do it.

Also, what is the "Info" button for? :?

If you hover your mouse over the bottom edge of the video screen a progress/time line bar will appear. Just click along the line to jump to a new point in the video. It's not quite the same as the old VCR style controls but it does much the same job.

      I hope this helps.

The fast forward is a lot more awkward than the last one because you have to guess where you want to go and then it takes ages to load to it.

I've noticed too that it doesn't seem to download when you pause. Other sites I watch videos on I usually press pause, go and make a cup of coffee and when I'm back there is sufficient loaded to watch smoothly and skip all the adverts (I know they are necessary for costs but once you've seen them three or four times...).

Well yesterday I had to try in both modes and still struggled. Both the new and the slower version pixelated and blurred. Looking at the feathers on Alex's quilt for example, half of the stiich lines weren't there then as the camera moved some came into focus and others went out. It was really disorientating and uncomfortable especially when looking at the larger quilts.

I have one hope. I'm on a satellite connection and it's raining here. It could be me this end. I do hope so or I'm not sure I could watch through it again without feeling woozy!

I wonder if some close-ups being out of focus to start with is simply because the camera moves in (and in and in) so get we get a really good view, and then has to adjust. My little digital camera (Sony Cybershot) does exactly that when I take very close pictures. I have to wait a fraction of a second for the picture to become sharp before I press the button.
