    Show 406 David Taylor

David Taylor's work is amazing! I saw one of his quilts at Quilt Colorado in 2006 and I was smitten.

This episode alone was worth the price of series four. GREAT JOB!

Hi All -- I just went to David Taylor's web site and he has the quilt he was working on finished there. It is absolutely awesome. You will have to see it.

I thought your show with David Taylor was your BEST show yet. His work is fantastic and it was very interesting to view his process from initial pictures to final quilt.

You all said it so well--this is one of the very best shows! David Taylor is such a humble person and so willing to share all of his quilting secrets. I have always admired his work and especially love his chickadee & pine needles quilt and also Sally At The Window. I was even more impressed when he said he does needleturn applique and hand piecing, too!!! And not even one bit of paint--I'm even more impressed with his work than I was before!!! Judy in Torrance

I have had the good fortune to see David's quilts at the Spring International Quilt Festival in Chicago a couple of times. Hummingbird up close is just amazing! His work is inspired! I agree with the other comments that this was a terrific episode.

If I could have asked David a question it would have been:

What do you use as the base of your quilt? Muslin? Or does it depend on the quilt? Maybe Alex or Ricky can answer this question.

                          Loved the episode.

Hi, I am not one to comment much on this kind of stuff, but I have to agree that this show was great. I love them all and cannot get enough, but I have to say this show really tops the charts. David is so charming and warm, and to watch him work through the process was pretty neat. I was naive to his work before today, but he is amazing. I think what really makes this show tops is his comfortable banter with the hosts and his "down-to-earth" attitudes! Thank you for all the wonderful shows you give us! Stephanie

I love Superior Education and that we can share this education with our friends and in our classes that we teach. This helps so very much! . I love the fact that Superior is a show sponsor!

David Taylors quilts are inspiring indeed. After this last year of quilting I might be willing to put a photo quilt on my list of quilts to do in a few years.

Judy, if you go to Davids website there is a "contact" page, I'm sure his assistant would be happy to answer your question about the muslin.
