    Melody Crust

What an awesome show!! I absolutely LOVE Melody Crust. She has such a no-nonsense way about her, and I really like how straight forward she is with answering questions. I learned more during this show that any other thanks to Ricky's demo on the double blanket stitch and Melody's wonderful information about getting that "bling" in quilts. I'm off now to see if I can get Melody's book and paints. Thanks again for a GREAT Show

This show, I have to say, is one of my favorites! She is an awesome teacher. As I was watching her go over all the techniques she uses my hands were itching to cut into some fabric and add some stuff to it. I am about to start a new quilt with folded squares. I plan on doing one thing at a time and letting the quilt take me where it will.
    Happy quilting everyone!!

I was so frustrated with this show as my broadband decided to play up, the speech wasn't synchronised and it just jumped from frame to frame so that in the end i had to give up. It was worth the wait though as as Melody's techniques were great. I loved the idea of using a stencil brush to add the Shiva paintstick, really effective.

I enjoyed this show very much. I am not an artist and can barely draw a stick figure. With her techniques I can play around and use those cool stencils and let my inner artist out!! I like the shiny bling to so have already been experimenting with shiny threads and beads and ribbons. Thanks for another inspiring show. Melody was so funny too. I love her 'don't ask me how I know that' Sandi in FL

I agree that this was one of my favorite shows. Her multifaceted approach to quilting was great. Quilting was "one decision at a time" for her and it struck a chord with me. The quilts I have enjoyed most were the quilts that approach. I think a general plan is good but too many times I think too much about the step by step process.

Her quilts really look like she had a great time making them.
